We loved our time at Firefly Cove. The condo was very clean and spacious, and the area was beautiful. We took advantage of the pool and the hiking in the surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Beautiful condo and the area of Chimney Rock and Lake Lure are definitely worth a visit. Firefly Cove is quiet and gated and when staying at the condo, guests have access to a pool and other common areas within the community. I would definitely consider staying at Firefly Cove again.

Very nice place to stay but the town closes up early between 3-6 and many restaurants are closed throughout the week making it hard to find places to eat at times. My suggestion would be to shop well before you get to town if you are cooking and eat early if eating out. Beautiful scenery though.

We rented this condo as a gift for our family. They loved it. They felt very safe in the gated community. They went for hikes which were beautiful. And they were able to walk into town, which they loved. The lake is beautiful and you can see it from the condo. The grounds of the condo are lovely and it was full of flowers. They said the condo is lovely and peaceful and it was extremely clean. We only had one small issue with communication. But after the late response the host did extend the checkout time. But all in all they loved it and had a wonderful time and they would love to return:)

The check in was very convenient other than it was dark when we arrived so we really could not see to find the key; so that took a minute. Very minor delay. The home was absolutely beautiful and very clean!! The bed slept very well! My husband and I take a trip every year around this time and I have never slept in the bed so comfy I just melted in the bed!! I honestly can’t find one bad thing to say other than I wish there was a television in the bedroom because my husband wanted to watch football and I do not watch football and there was no DVD player to watch our movies on. Neither of those are complaints just saying those additions would be great but even not the experience is still wonderful!! Lots of restaurants very very near by as well as Ingles and Dollar General!! Beautiful scenery!!! This is great for couples, my husband and I will definitely be back! A quiet, absolutely lovely retreat.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at this property. It was the perfect setting for a quiet, very comfortable getaway during a time of “social distancing.” Between the plush, cozy bed and the blackout curtains, we enjoyed a great night’s sleep the entire time. The full kitchen made it easy to prepare wonderful meals without ever having to leave. The large back porch with its beautiful view of the lake was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The smaller porch off the master bedroom served as an ideal spot for morning yoga while listening to the nearby creek. A day of bad weather and rain didn’t bother us a bit; we kept warm by the gas fireplace, played games on the large dining room table and played a few games of pool in the building’s game room. When the weather was clear, we went for walks around the picturesque neighborhood and took dips in the pool. We were sorry to leave at the end of the week and can’t wait to stay again!

Just a beautiful setting both inside and out. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a great romantic getaway. The interior looks like a model featured in House Beautiful. Just warm and cozy feeling in every part of the home. Flowers in the backyard are beautiful. What a wonderful time at happy hour over looking the great community lawn and picturesque lake. You really feel like its all your space but then you are only steps from the pool, gym and billiards room. The master bedroom has its own private lanai that you sit and hear the waterfall and creek just a stones throw away. The original painting over the inviting king size bed portrays one of the main buildings from the movie Dirty Dancing (remember Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze!) that was filmed at this breath taking setting. The kitchen is spacious, open, with a nice breakfast bar. The living room is big and comfortable. The stone fireplace is right out of the west and would be perfect in the fall and winter season but didn’t need in March. The master bath is good size with oversized tub and walk in shower. The amenities also include the resort dock, outdoor seating and barbecue grill. The location is also perfect. The Condo is only minutes from both Chimney Rock with great hiking, the Lake Lure beach and the historic Arcade building and Lake Lure Inn. Wanted to share great memories of staying at Firefly Cove in Lake Lure, North Carolina. This is a place to experience for a private romantic getaway. Community offers numerous amenities with gym on the ground floor being one of the best. We enjoyed cool sunny days and walked a lot around the area. We even had a chance to meet the community dwellers 😉 and they are all proud of living in such a peaceful place with such a great history. Not to mention that place is very well-known as a scene for Dirty Dancing movie. The condo is located on the ground floor and is very spacious. It has all the necessary items for either long or short-term stay. Chairs by the fireplace were my best spot in the house. Bed is extra large and sooo comfortable. Having a bath tub in the unit is another big benefit. Owners take a good care of the property as everything feels very fresh and clean. Convenient location makes it a great spot as you can easily drive to Asheville and visit Biltmore Estate – the largest private residence in America, or just drive around to Greenville or Hendersonville to explore local culture. A short drive will take you to the National Park so if the weather is good enough, try hiking. There are lots of small souvenir shops – don’t forget to buy a handmade item to remember your trip to this scenic town of Lake Lure in the heart of Carolinas! Experience Firefly Cove in Lake Lure

It was a great pleasure to experience the place like Firefly Cove in the town of Lake Lure. The community is set in the picturesque scenery surrounded by rich vegetation and overlooking the famous lake where the famous Dirty Dancing movie was shot years ago. The weather was quite cool when we arrived so we stayed in doors by the fireplace most of the time reading books. The unit itself s very nicely decorated, with stylish designer touch that you can see almost everywhere – from furniture to bedding. It was pleasant to soak in a bath tub in a cool rainy day after exercising in the gym located on the ground floor of the building. Environment is very pleasant, safe and sound. You get in through the gate which is unlocked by the security code. It was just a short drive from Asheville which made us think of coming back again in summer to enjoy leisurely time by the pool and a boat ride around the lake to learn more about the beautiful community of Lake Lure. Top of the line!

The whole experience from enquiring to booking to check-in was easy . Communication was top notched. Everything was just as described and then some. Property every employee was eager to help and were genuinely happy that we were guests. I messaged the property manager one time on a question about the thermostat and they were more than willing to send someone to help me,which Thankfully was not needed, but was nice � for a quick response. Everything was so nicely decorated and fresh linens, the balcony and view was phenomenal,I actually fell asleep out there it was relaxing. The only thing that I didn’t like was time was way to short and having to leave.lol. Already checking my work calendar for next year. ( side note the amenities were way more than expected, pools, spas, golfing green 10th-floor pool/hot tub is amazing, especially at sunset. The views are breathtaking. Amazing to watch God paint us such a marvellous masterpiece. Thank you for helping me make this a memorable Summer, especially with a teenager who has an attitude lol? he said it was Gnarly Dude!

By far our most favorite vacation! The water around the pier was beautiful! This was the most relaxing vacation. We didn’t want to leave. We hate to go to the same place twice and we would absolutely come back! Our condo was pleasant, clean, and comfortable! The restaurant was great as well. Olesia was a great host. I would definitely recommend this place. The restaurant on site was very good and all people we met at this condo were very nice. Great family environment!

Nice resort with awesome pools and hot tubs. Condo was clean, looks like it’s 2 condos combined into one so you have the bedrooms on opposite sides of each other. Beds were decently comfy. We were offered to let us check out late which was nice.

The condo was set up very nice with the 2 bedrooms. There was lots of privacy between the parents and the children and we each had our own bathroom. The beach, the view, and the pool are all amazing! It wasn’t very crowded either and we went Labor Day weekend. We had a great time and will be going back in the future.

This is a nice property right on the beach with a good view of the ocean and pool. The place is spacious and clean with plenty of linens and towels provided. Overall a good experience as we were here to see our Marine and got to spend time with him.

This was our second stay at Sugar Top condo. The condo is spacious, neatly decorated, and clean. The mountain views, sunsets, and sunrises are amazing from every room in the condo. The kitchen is stocked with pans, dishes, utensils for cooking. The pool and hot tub were great for the cool weather nights. The washer and dryer are handy too. Easy drive to Grandfather mt, Linville falls and Boone. Overall a great spring break getaway.

Stayed here for our anniversary trip. Great location about 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do. I could see it being difficult getting to the condo during the snow season with the steep roads. It has great views of the ski slopes. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it for a nice getaway.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 days to celebrate her 18th birthday. The condo is 2.5 miles up on top of a mountain that overlooks Sugar Mt ski resort. You definitely need AWD if there is any snow or ice. The mountain views are amazing and you can watch the skiers from the breakfast nook. The condo is gorgeous, spacious and clean. There is a Food Lion and Lowes foods nearby, so we were able to shop and cook our meals in the fully furnished kitchen. We hiked Grandfather Mt, visited Apple Hill Farm, and went snow tubing. East-West is the property management company, and they were excellent to work with. They sent me directions and updates on when the condo was available as well as checkout information. A winter storm moved in the day before we were to leave, and they allowed us to book an additional night which was wonderful! They are the best ! Thank you to the family that owns this beautiful condo , we had a great visit!

The property is on the 9th floor of a resort on the top of a hill. The views are wonderful from the bedrooms, the living room, and the balcony. The pool on the property also has great views and is very clean. I would bring my family back to this property if we went to Banner Elk, NC again.

Beary Attentive to Details
This condo is gorgeous, not just the views (which are amazing). The owners have themed the condo with bears and big, comfortable furniture. The extra details made this place especially comfortable. From ceiling fans, plenty of hooks, power strips, tv trays, and even a set of binoculars to take in the amazing views, this unit had all the bells and whistles that made it a beary special place to stay. We are booking it again next year.
